The Danish flag, Dannebrog, is everywhere in Denmark. It is a big part of Danish culture. The flag is flown for many different celebrations. You can find the flag in shop windows, on flag poles in many people's gardens and on food packaging. Danes also fly the flag to welcome people and use the Danish flag emoji to say congratulations or for birthdays and anniversaries. They are also all over greeting cards!

Hm, I temember driving into Hamburg in Germany medio the 1990's...and something was new/different...
Suddenly it dawned - the German flag wad flying everywhere...this was the very first ocasion I ever saw the German flag..
When I visited Denmark the very last time - 10 years ago, I temember thinking, " for how long will this flag keep flying?" - same question now - 10 years later!!
Celebrstion yes and, it shows Nationalism - extreme nationalism - far too much nationalism....😪
