Okay, I know these videos are well-researched content-wise, but 100 props to the editors for doing a ton of research into 1980s video production style. The sound design alone is magNIFICENT

This 80's awkward presenter theme is amazing!! This video is more 80's than the 80's themselves. lol. Great work!!

I love the keyboard that's not even plugged in, haha. Very fun presentation here :D

Just to clear this up since lots of people have left comments about it: I'm using the SI/IEC definition of "kilobyte" as 1000 bytes, "megabyte" as (1000)^2 bytes, "gigabyte" as (1000)^3 bytes.

Since we're dealing with binary information, 2^10 bytes is technically 1024 bytes, but these days that's referred to as a kibibyte. A mebibyte is (1024)^2 bytes, a gibibyte is (1024)^3, etc.

Hope that clears up the terminology used!

I love this 80's retail-training-video aesthetic.

02:22 "Whilst much of it will be useless" **inserts flying TMZ and Reddit logo**.

Haha! I love your awkward presenter alter ego. Please can this become a thing? 80s Joe awkwardly presents modern topics?

This video is beautiful. The 80s/90s effects. The stutters you have every now and then. "The Google". The keyboard not being plugged in. And my favorite, at 3:16 you can see the mic. Beautiful

This video style makes me so happy! You even got the wiggle in the tape! Turn that tracking wheel...

Big data is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is… until you watch this video.

You need to watch this in 144p to get the full effect.

Bah, you kids and your fancy magnetic storage media. We used punch cards. Those held 80 bytes each. My first IT job was re-punching cards that had been damaged. My first home computer didn't have ANY non-volatile storage: I had to retype every program every time i wanted to use it. I'm not even kidding.

Love the 1990 filming style! Brings me back to educational videos in elementary school and how far we've come

This acting as someone from the 90s internet training video plus his editing make this one of my favorite videos

That video was friggin HILARIOUS....the VHS off-tracking was a great touch, but I can't decide which was funnier - the knee banging on the desk or the coffee toss LOL

The accuracy of the early 90's aesthetic here is astounding.

I just want to say...I absolutely love this channel. Not just for the informative and entertaining content, but for the little moments of subtle editing/humor. Keep up the good work!
