I can't really make up my mind about her...this sugaring dynamic has existed since Peggy Guggenheim, and many beloved artists of the past were the beneficiaries of it. She also is undeniably talented at painting - but at the same time, her paintings are not very unique. It's not what I'm looking for from art. Once you nail the renaissance, mannerist technique, the concepts of the paintings have a high success to failure ratio, i.e. not very experimental, sort of a rehashing of Paul Delvaux and John Currie.
