Acclaimed producer and multi-hyphenate musical creative, Tommee Profitt, today announced the release of his new Christmas album, The Birth of a King, due Friday, October 16 via Capitol CMG. Featuring an eclectic lineup of guests including pop superstar Avril Lavigne, alt-R&B artist Stanaj, and singer/songwriter Chris Tomlin to name a few, the high-concept Christmas album brings Profitt’s cinematic sensibilities and signature genre-bending sound into the realm of holiday music. The self-produced LP spotlights Profitt’s unbridled musicality over the course of seventeen thrillingly grandiose tracks. The Birth Of A King is available to pre-save HERE, which comes with an accompanying instant download of the first-released song, “Go Tell It On the Mountain” (feat. Crowder). “This is something I’ve wanted to do for the last 15 years, and quarantine finally gave me the time to make it happen,” said Profitt. “I wanted to make a Christmas album that sounds like an
epic movie soundtrack, with 808s and a gospel choir and all these incredible singers, and it turned out to be the hardest and most exciting thing I’ve ever worked on.”

Earlier this summer, the Nashville by-way-of Michigan musician made his debut as a solo
recording artist with the release of his single, "Faking Love (ft. Jung Youth & NAWAS)" highlighting his elaborately detailed, yet undeniably epic take on pop, the darkly-charged track reflects on refusing to live inauthentically for the sake of preserving a failing relationship—a moody tension brilliantly magnified by the merging of its chilling piano tones, high-drama strings, and massively heavy beats. American Songwriter praised the track as a “booming debut effort,” complemented by a “larger-than-life production style with driving rap verses and smooth harmonies.” The equally mesmerizing music video, inspired by Black Mirror, follows the main character as he finds himself plugged into a virtual reality stimulation. Marked by a dystopian sci-fi edge, the video showcases Profitt’s visionary imagination, further revealing the depth of his artistry.

Over the last few years alone, Profitt achieved tremendous success as a producer, songwriter,
and award-winning composer for TV and movies, earning accolades for his work with platinum-
selling artists like Migos, Hunter Hayes, and fellow Michigander NF–whose Profitt-produced
2017 single “Let You Down” went five-times platinum, hit #1 on Billboard’s US Mainstream
Top 40 chart, and surpassed a billion streams worldwide. With over 200 sync placements in
the film, TV, and gaming worlds, he’s also found his music featured everywhere from The
Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 to The Handmaid’s Tale to Apex Legends, while his cover
of Linkin Park’s “In The End” (featuring Fleurie) landed on Spotify’s Viral 50 in 23 countries,
emerged as the #52 most Shazamed song of 2019, and amassed over 855 million streams.

"We Three Kings" already has a minor feel to it, so it lent itself perfectly to get big and epic! My friends "We the Kingdom" was the PERFECT choice for this song... 1) because of their style and incredible vocals, but also 2) because the symmetrical play on their name next to the title makes me happy inside "We Three Kings feat.
