To be honest this movie should have come out 6 years ago.. it was deserved long before Captain Marvel.
After Endgame I'm not sure if I can be bothered. I'll wait for the reviews.

The whole time I was watching this trailer I was thinking, "Why the hell wasn't this made during phase 1 or 2 of the MCU? WTF OVER!?!?"

In my eyes, this is released too late. This is like Solo where it got made not long after the titular character has died. So the impact is nonexistent and just serves as filler. If this had come out 10 years ago, i'd be on board. But as it stands, i see no point anymore.

‘Black Widow’ feels like a train that has arrived late at the station. Maybe it’ll surprise audiences, but I feel it should have arrived in phase 2 or early phase 3.

The most exciting part: David Harbour escaping the Russian prison from Stranger Things 3.

It's those bourne like fight scenes that always draw me in, they actually look like a proper fight between 2 skilled fighters, using anything in their environment to win. The scene were Black Widow sky dives through rubble with guys shooting at her drew me out. Those scenes are just for spectacle and rarely hold any significance to the plot, it's just there because it looks cool.

I love your reviews. They are often more entertaining than the movie. That would be the case here. Going on my third year now of swearing off prequels, sequels, remakes, reboots and superheroes. I don't have any delusion that this will force Hollywood to have an original idea. They don't WANT an original idea. Just as well, because they wouldn't know an original idea if it sued them for sexual harassment. All good wishes!
