As a parent, paying for the education of my young adult, i am VERY thankful for this discussion. Had the student in this situation been my son/daughter, I would not have hesitated to send them to an institution that embraces and honors the Freedom of Speech that our Founding Fathers sacrificed their well being for. Again, Thank you all!

Here's what those kids accomplished: 1) They can go back to their rooms, pack their things as they are now going home. 2) There will be a permanent black mark on their college records. 3) They will NEVER be allowed back to Yale, either to attend or on the premises. 4) Their transcripts will be mailed to them as Yale no longer wants ANYTHING to do with any of them. 5) They can explain to their parents how the money they put up for their education is neither going to merit a degree nor will they be receiving any monetary restitution/compensation from Yale. 6) No one will ever hire them with the aforementioned black mark from one of America's most outstanding and upstanding college, placing them soundly as an 'undesirable un-hirable'. 7) No college will ever entertain admittance due to their actions at Yale. 8) They have effectively destroyed any chance at a successful career in their initially chosen profession for the entirety of their adult lives.

Well done.
Too many of our law schools have gone astray. When free speech is in jeopardy, what can you say? Yale, in particular, is a disgrace.
Tighten up the accreditation standards before the individual states have to intervene.

Yale Law School students are a parody of themselves. More disturbing than the students was the admin. response--nothing. Just pathetic.
