Today is a difficult day for me. Yesterday there was a mass shooting at an elementary school in a nearby community. Our news is full of the details and I'm on overload. I needed something to listen to that was more engaging than music, preferably funny. YouTube tutorials usually hit the spot.
This video re-dropped on my connect screen for YouTube. I immediately clicked to watch again because it's Karen Brown. Of the MANY things she does well, she's my go-to for a soothing voice, no muss nor fuss and something fascinating to discover.

Having my first coffee this morning and ran across your tutorial on rope “do dads”. I’m on my second 1000 ft of cotton rope now. I’m just as addicted to it as I am to quilting, , HELP 😂. Wish I could show you what I’ve made so far. After seeing your large Market Bag I do believe it will be next. For the past few years as Christmas gifts I’ve made some type of sewing project for my family; which seem to grow each year. Gifts have been aprons, pillowcases jellyroll rugs and pat year was Sliced Rugs. 17 rugs each year😂.
