The Great - Shiv Kumar Batalvi. 9 years ago I came across an interview of this guy, I had no idea who he was, his poems in that interview blew away my mind. And when I came to know that he died at such a young age of 36 in 1973, I literally cried. I was not a fan of Punjabi language before but this guy made me learn it and since then Shiv Kumar and his poems are a part of my life. I hope more people knew about this guy and his poems, which are used in most hit songs in Bollywood.
