I picked up this case because I use the same brand for my phone. I like the protection for my phone, so I figured I would give this a shot for the deck. A pro for me is that it almost matches my phone case, but more importantly my deck has a little more insurance. You're video validates my thoughts on it. Thank you kind sir!

oh I'm fro sure gonna use the strap! it's better not to fall at all... that's why I like this case :) spigen was smart doing this. I wish they would protect it to front a little more, but... that's fine if I use the strap

I was hoping to see they made one for the Steam Deck like the Switch OLED case.
My poor white OLED, been through the wringer, but looks brand new! I use my lanyard fitted to a really good doubled clip like a backpack clip to let me breakaway ASAP! I put the other end of the clip onto my hoodie's draw string and when I pass out playing at night, it'll either be in my lap or hanging from my neck!
I honestly buy this case for the lanyard, but the case has met concrete in every horrifying angle and the fact that they made it extremely rigid and full coverage has made it priceless for me!
My Switch OLED had dropped on the bottom corner and the controller never even budged.. the catch usually breaks with the lightest drop leaving the joycon slipping off when the catch breaks. 2.5' never passed it and a few weeks back, I accidentally walked away with my headphones connected, concrete corner hit that threw the Switch face first onto a concrete step... Again! It prevented a 50/50 split! I nearly 💩myself on that one! 3' is the limit for things and it is perfectly fine!

Best case and I'll be picking up one for my new Steam Deck Limited too!n Thanks for sharing your video of yours.

Really helpful vid thanks for showing how it fits in the OEM case. Hoping the joysticks aren’t pressed on when it’s in there, I’ve got mine on the way

Great review. Would have been nice to know which docks it fits in. I’ve ordered the updated Ivoler Dock (6 in 1). If anyone wants to know if this Spigen case fits in the newest Ivoler dock then I’ll post an update later when they arrive 👍 if it doesn’t fit I’ll be sending one of them back to Amazon 😅

Warning: Keeping your Steam Deck in the original carrying case with the Spigen Rugged Armor Case is TOO TIGHT and will add too much PRESSURE on the thumbsticks. Either avoid using the Spigen case when keeping your Steam Deck in the carrying case, or consider buying a bigger, third-party case/bag for your Steam Deck.

Can it be fitted into the original case?

Missed the most important question.
Will it fit into a Steam Dock?

Follow up. Will it fit in the original Deck case.
Review missed the mark.
