My cousin & I took the ferry ride to the BI & loved it.

Newport really needs a ferry going from the tip of the peninsula over to Corona Del Mar.

Pelican hill is what you get when you cross Italy with a car ridden suburb. So many dead ends thanks to gated communities. Worse for walking or cycling. There is barely anywhere to walk. There are no small parks outside of Crystal Cove SP.

Complete lack of trees that would throw any shade on broadwalk. You are pretty much stuck in searing sun.
