Blessed evening in Trinidad we usually add cassava, coconut, sweet potato (opt) and pumpkin along with several spices. These include: nutmeg, cinnamon and all spice opt) and also black pepper which gives it alittle kick and small piece of ginger. This sweet treat is quite delectable.
