Matt, this is a beautiful song that I can really relate to for obvious reasons, but what makes it more poignant for me is the old footage of my Granda dancing, I'd never seen that before! Also when I saw the mirror footage at the start it seemed familiar but I didn't realise it was the same stuff I filmed ages ago with you! Thanks for the credit man and glad you found a place for it somewhere!

Matt this is a beautiful song but I was just wondering about the name kinnahalla. As a young boy of about 9 I remember going down to Kinnahalla Youth Hostel near Spelga Dam with our school. This was probably early 1960s and enjoying it and about 8 or 9 yrs later going back to it with friend and again venturing for walks in the Mournes. Is it possible that this house in the song was a time before the dam was built and that house was submerged in the water of the dam when it was built. I would be curious to know the origins of the name Kinnahalla as the name has a very happy time for me as a boy growing up in East Belfast and then came the troubles in the 70s and then all heartache
