The Day I Started Vlogging Again

Hey guys! I am sure some of you are confused why the channel “Matthias 2” was renamed to “Unrelatable”. You’ll see in the video. Basically these are super casual vlogs around the studio. Might not keep the name, it’s whatever. A lot has changed since I last uploaded. What would you like to know? Let me know your feedback down in the comments below! Thanks!

As an older fan, I fell in love with the original Team Edge videos. I'd love to see more things like that again, maybe throwback videos with your new cast, playing board games, collaborating, skits, improv games, etc. I still watch a lot of Hi5 now, but I agree with other commenters who say that things feel overproduced and trend-chasing now. It seems like videos are streamlined, quantity over quality, instead of focused on fun and originality. I've loved watching the changes over the years and I'm so appreciative that we could watch you and your family and co-workers grow!

It's good to see you back, Matt. I personally always liked the vlogs that were more focused on the studio itself rather than being entertaining and having a fun game in it. Its so strange to see you being so serious, im used to you joking around on Dope or Nope. It is really eyeopening to see what goes on behind the scenes. Overarching narrative you say? I will say this, I loved YouTube Genius and I was super invested in the ghost stuff and mysterious set of keys that happened last year so I would definitely want to see more series style vlogs and even a funny sketch series with people around the office. I think the Office/sitcom style format you had going for the last few vlogs on the Matthias channel is fantastic

Content wise, I’d love to see more special events. Like the staying 24 hours in Hi5. Just a few of the vlogging channels coming together to post a kind of series was pretty fun. Another cool thing would be some skits. Your old skits were amazing, and now you have a ton of people that you can feature in them. Idk, just some ideas if you find the time and resources. I just miss old Team Edge a bit. Not really about you not being there anymore. I completely understand that. But I miss the days when you guys would just make videos on regular board games / party games without making them giant or EXTREME and stuff. It felt more authentic when you guys were just cracking jokes at each other. Now I don’t keep up with TE videos at much anymore because everything just seems blown out of proportion and you guys kinda rely on the intensity for comedy.

I throughly enjoy the content put out by your studio. I have subscribed to most if not all of the channels. The videos are interesting and funny which is what I look for when finding new content to watch. Dope or Nope was the first channel I ever watched from Hi5. Once I realized that there was more content from the same group, I wanted to subscribe and watch them all. Thank you so much for starting this company to allow collaboration and a creative safe space for your creators. As I walk into student teaching next semester, I know that I could potentially be teaching a future YouTube creator. My job is to encourage their curiosity and creativity and give them ways to use it.

Anyway i clicked it and liked it without seeing it. Anything with matt, video will get liked first then only watching starts!

I love having you back, but I also seriously appreciate what you're aiming for and acknowledging. Personal fulfillment within the workplace is unbelievably important, as is growth: personal, as teams, and as a company. It's in the lack of seeing, acknowledging, and then accommodating for that necessary change in order to grow that so many companies lose employee retention, continuity, and, overall, the life of the company itself. I sincerely hope that Omneity, Inc., and it's subsidiaries are around for many, many years to come. Despite not being part of your team, I'm quite interested in what these colors may bring. I have been a long time watcher of hi5 studios and I have always been drawn to the content as a way to calm down and have a genuine laugh. The main thing for me is that you guys are enjoying yourselves. Now I’m not saying I expect to see you happy all the time, in fact I enjoy stuff like this that is much more raw because it creates a feeling of trust that I really like to see in creators. To know creators like you are making content for themselves and their fans, not some bottom line is a very comforting thing. Often times I really enjoy your more planned shows, however I do miss more people doing “daily vlog format” where there isn’t a challenge incorporated. I used to love the follow me around vlogs you guys used to run because it seemed more connected. I enjoy the occasional slow down of your content where it feels more like a conversation than a TV show. Frankly, what ever you guys do in the future please know that your fans (including myself) will support you. Watching the studio grow over the past couple years has been a truly incredible thing to see and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I love all of your channels and have been a quiet but loyal viewer for a long time. I don’t care about an upload schedule as long as you get content that you are proud of to your viewers! It’s really just inspiring to see a group of people really doing something fun and that they love with their life! It probably doesn’t mean much but I will support this company wherever it goes.

I'm probably a minority here, but I'm in my mid-twenties now. I stopped watching all videos that High-Five produces probably 8 months ago.
For me, it became overly produced and crazy, and the humor seemed to be for a younger audience.
I'm more akin to interviews, learning new skills or philosophies, or candid content.
I started watching you when you and Amanda lived in the apartment. I loved your vlogs, for the homestyle feel.
