OSTBA 200 watt meat slicer review

After 8 months of very little use we are not happy with this item. Other than the stated issues in the video we find the back is weak and causes uneven slicing. The power switch has gotten flaky. And unit is not easy to clean as meat gets stuck under the little black piece at the bottom of the blade where the food enters to be cut, you must remove it with a special screw driver to get the meat out from under it.

Well I have been looking at meat slicers all day and the one you have there is one of the very cheapest ones, so it is no wonder it has problems... I am glad to see your video as I won't be buying this one or anything as cheap as this one is.

I think you got a faulty one because mine doesn’t have that overhang you’re talking about. But thanks for the video! I just bought this and I really didn’t feel like reading the manual:)

I think it would have been more informative if you placed the camera on the other side of the slicer so folks could see how the meat looked as it was being sliced.

Quick question. Mine just arrived today and I’ve never had one before. How often should I expect to have to change the blade?

you need to send your concerns about it to company . they need to know the issues and u may have gotten a faulty one. Just my opinion. But wouldn't hurt to let them know issues

I know it's been six months since you made this video. But I was wondering if it can cut semi- frozen chicken breast?

It kind look Like a piece of meat you’re slicing it’s a bit big for the machine
