Mussolini wasn’t always hated in Italy. The people loved him at first but that eventually went to hell when WW2 came around. My Nonno was named after Mussolini (this was before they knew he was a psycho) and they had records of Mussolini giving speeches. My Nonno was very against war as he lived through WW2 as a child.
