I’ve lived in both. I am a proud Saskatchewan girl…always! It’s the people, it’s home!

I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan then eventually moved to Ottawa for work. I can say that there literally is not a day that goes by that I don’t miss life in Saskatchewan. The people, the weather, the Roughriders, the lakes and forests and outdoors. Land of Living Skies!!!

I've lived in both, Calgary is nice because it is close to mountains but if you like small town feel Regina beats Calgary and Edmonton

Alberta is definitely NOT left wing. More left than Saskatchewan, sure, but all around it's the texas of canada, and it's pretty right wing. Especially by canadian standards

How about the great outdoors. Alberta has around 800 fishable lakes, Saskatchewan has 97, 000.

Sask has the lakes. Natural sand beaches clear warm water and not a lot of bugs most years in the forests make sask a great place for laking. Very underrated. 4 and a half months of the year there is nowhere on the planet better to be. The problem is the other 7 months or so. Sask gets a bad rap for its flat land but those people who laugh are ignorant of the utter beauty of Saskatchewans central northern lakes and beaches.

Saskatchewan is the cultural center of western Canada. Saskatoon in my opinion is one of the most beautiful cities in North America.

Saskatchewan feels closer to the heart and spirit. The fragrance in the air is of different level. Believe me, you start feeling at home right then and there.

I moved from Vancouver Island to return to Sask in March of 2023. No comparison between the 2 places....much simpler way of life, and much lower cost of living.

The Roughriders break my heart every year.

So funny the comments about the roughriders, so true. I remember coming across a roughrider flag hanging out of a window in Mexico lol.

I went from Vancouver, then moved to Calgary in 2014 for lower cost of living, now I’m moving to Regina next week. They gonna push me all the way to Winnipeg 😭😂

You seem to have concentrated on the larger centres of both provinces. Let me assure you small town Alberta and Saskatchewan have some wonderful towns to live in and raise a family. City life is not for me and it would have been great for you to also feature rural and small town living.
