Round #1: Goa Police Extortion by Threat of Arrest

We were stopped by Goa police officers who cited me for not wearing a mask even though I told them I had a medical exemption. They then threatened us with arrest if we did not pay their coercive 200-rupee fine on the spot and in cash.

We were exercising our right to freedom of the press and the freedom of speech. Can we please get a refund? We like to breathe full and fresh air only, not our germs.

The central government admitted that masks are not mandatory. Local governments seem to be enacting contradictory and unlawful mask orders that can violate our rights. I feel that wearing a mask restricts our breathing and provides a false sense of security. I can breathe fine without having on a mask.

That lady police is very fit for duty.every year they should have mandatory fitness training for these people and at the same time they should also have English speaking courses atleast 1 or 2 days in a year.

To the brother who is heard engaging with the cops, hope you had an enjoyable trip to Goa otherwise, we respect your right to protest and to your opinion about COVID being a scam but please follow the law in force in the meanwhile. The cops are only the enforcers, it is the policy makers who decide the law, so engaging with the cops is futile, you are unlikely to get a satisfactory response, if you so strongly believe COVID is a scam please raise awareness to reach your intended audience. Sir you have a YouTube channel and I failed to see any video on this cause on your channel. To the other brother who has a medical exemption, please keep these at hand so that any inconvenience is avoided.

Follow the law bro, our goa police officers are doing their job and in almost all states wearing mask is mandatory whether you have taken your both the jab or not. So if you are coming in goa then you will have to follow our rules and regulations.
