Thanks for the very detailed review! I just went and bought this case and like you mentioned the build quality is top notch and the case looks great. Yes it's a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

I have a 600 silent base and I can see that this case is a major improvement over mine. I like that they have a controller for fans now. My case only has 1 2 and 3 on the frontal switch. Frontal meshed panel is also great. I currently have a 4090 RTX GPU and I had to remove the frontal panel completely to allow more air into the case.

This review was helpful. Thanks for that. I am replacing my be quiet 700 due to my getting an rtx 3080 ti and that thing runs super hot, especially in that 700 case. It runs like 52c idle and was up to a whopping 86c when under load. I took off the front panel and was able to get it down to around 74c under load but I think having a vented top will definitely help. I'm waiting for my 802 to come in, I might even use some extra fans to put on the bottom to draw air in and up into the 3 in the front from the bottom bay..

The Be Quiet! Silent Base 802 case will easily accommodate any size Arctic Freezer II AIO. I have two. One with a 280mm and the other with a 360mm Arctic Freezer II AIO. There is plenty of room between the top of the motherboard and the underside of the radiator assembly of the Arctic Freezer II and the width will easily accommodate the 140mm fans.

I personally think BeQuiet opting to not include the drive bay covers in a build with no side window is a perfectly reasonable decision on their part.

Great review, how does this stack up against the 700? I see the 700 is a bit smaller.

I'm thinking of getting the new corsair rmx shift power supply with the cables coming out the side and wonder if there be enough room. I measured the gap from psu Bay edge to the foam of the side panel and it's 35mm. I think it's enough, just.
But wonder if someone else has done already.

I've been researching this case myself and I am almost ready to purchase it, great review ECPU 😎
One important question tho... is there enough room to mount a 3090 directly to the mother board?
Thanks for sharing 👍

Is this case supporting Corsair RMX shift PSU? Or better to go with classic ones?
