As a veteran, I can’t even begin to explain how disgusted and furious I am. Donald Trump had the chance to show even a shred of decency by honoring the brave men and women who gave everything for this country—and what did he do? He skipped out to go to a damn dinner. That’s not just disrespectful, that’s inhumane. This man—if you can even call him that—is nearly 80 years old and still hasn’t learned an ounce of humility or honor. He’s not a leader. He’s not a patriot. He’s a self-centered, heartless disgrace who cares more about himself and his MAGA fan club than the families grieving their sons, brothers, husbands, and friends. The way he treats our veterans and service members says everything. He doesn’t care about us. He never has, and he never will.

As a father who lost a son when he was 26, let me tell you there are no words that can describe that experience. I can however describe in words the actions of the president. He's a heartless, selfish asshole. My heartfelt sorrow and prayers go out to those fallen warriors and their parents. Even though the focus is on the servicemen, trust me, the parents are going through hell right now. FDJT.
