The green of the plants pop against the beautiful white walls and wood textures in your home. I propagate and combine varieties too. I started with one Monstera and have propagated it into a jungle in my sunroom/home office. I love working from home surrounded by my plant babies, candles, pillows, and textures. Love this video and your sense of humor!

I have three varieties of Jade in my 100+ plant collection and I love them. I also have lots of different Pothos varieties. My plants make me very happy. Currently all of my plants are happy. One of my favorites A. Silver Dragon has given me seven new leaves in my care. I am glad that my M. Thai Constellation is a slower grower and is still a very young plant. It just put out its girst fenestrated leaf 😊.

Sarah, the jade plant is a stunning bonsai! Its windswept growth is much sought after by bonsai owners! Keep it in a small. container with trimmed roots and add an ornamental rock and enjoy that beauty. I’m looking forward to Part 2 of this series!

In my home the rule is survival of the fittest when it comes to plants. I’ll try them and if they can survive my minimal level of care then they get to stay! My most tolerant of neglect plant seems to be an angel wing begonia. I can’t seem to kill it or stop it from growing! I was glad to hear your thoughts on your fiddle leaf fig also. I avoided one for quite a long time because I had heard how finicky they were but finally gave in 3 years ago and mine is doing amazingly well!

I retired and filled my old desk with houseplants. Some are doing better than others, so may need to switch some out if my repotted plants don’t recover well. I have low light situation, but now have a plant light to supplement. Subscribed!

Houseplants are a HOT topic now and I cannot get enough of houseplants, books, magazine, videos, blogs etc. I am going to try a Hoya now.-your is gorgeous ! also REALLY like your wide planter choices, I have never seen them that wide before. I am a HUGE Michigan plant mom as well and my condo is fiiled with plants. I started out again with houseplants during COVID. I can make suggestion about a couple of GREAT (black) plant "grow light" floor lamps that I use in Michigan. I have tow of them. This style of grow light would look wonderful in your home as well.

Peace Lilly! Mine would like a little more light but it’s so forgiving if I mess up the watering. It droops and tells me it’s unhappy, I change course- and it gets happy in a day or two 👍

Thanks for doing this video. It's exactly what I wanted to see - the name of your plants and info about them. I have mostly succulents - mainly allevera. I can't help myself, I too love starting new plants from most of my older plants. I have geranium plants in the garage in the winter where they are left unattended and dormant til spring then they go on the deck where they bloom twice as much as the few new ones I pick up at the store at the beginning of the season..

I also had no love for snakeplants until I met 'Moonshine' sanseveria (snakeplant)...it is absolutely gorgeous but it super easy to care for, just like the others
I have a 'Marble Queen' pathos that is a beautiful variety but a dream to take care of...I do really well with any plant that can survive some benign neglect 😆

I had a lovely pothos that almost died. I think the location was too drafty but I don't really know. There's 2 small leaves left that are hanging in there, lol! BTW I do have a green thumb. Looking forward to your next video
