People do not need to wear lead aprons or thyroid collars when getting X-rays at the dentist. That's according to the American Dental Association. However, state rules may dictate if people have to wear the aprons, and some states still require them. #xray #dentist #dental

I mean there's no risk in using lead aprons. I'd rather not risk any potential issues.

I always thought it was silly. A tiny amount of radiation twice a year. I haven’t had a Dentist do it in years.
