Only HaShem knows how badly I wanted to train under Dr. Nancy Boyd Franklin at GSAPP. Unfortunately, my GPA and GRE scores were simply not competitive enough to earn admission into the amazing clinical psychology program. I was rejected twice with no interview offer. My mentor told me that GSAPP simply missed out and not accepting me was their lost. My mentor was right because one year later after being rejected by GSAPP, I was accepted into PhD counseling program. Only time will tell if GSAPP missed out.
