PM seatbelt blunder was 'inadvertent'

Lancashire Police issued a fixed penalty notice after the prime minister appeared without a seatbelt in a clip on Instagram as he promoted his levelling-up funding in the county.

Dominic Raab says that Rishi Sunak does not need to resign after receiving another fixed penalty notice from police.

Fines should be wage indexed. £100 is a day and a half's pay for someone on minimum wage, sunak needs to lose a similar portion of his income

The key is that he's the only prime minister since Johnson to be fined. Not the first minister to find himself at odds with a small infraction to law but the first to be sanctionned. Think about that
