1 box of Krusteaz cinnamon swirl crumb cake and muffin mix
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water

I put a little cold butter shavings on top of the crumb mixture between layers.makes it extra yummy

Thank you, I just made this for my grandma with dementia and she loved it. She gets too mad to eat anything I make, but this smelled so good and tasted so good she forgot how mad she was lol

I have been doing these for years and love them. The hardest part is getting the batter spread against the greased pan. The 2nd layer of batter is a little difficult as well because of the stiffness. See mt tip below which makes it so much easier...

Tip: After spooning the batter; dip two fingers in water to spread it. It'll stay in place.

I’ll have to try Krusteaz. I hated that Pepsico discontinued the Aunt Jemima coffee cake mix. It had been around for decades and was easy to make. It had a little cardboard pan, you would mix milk/egg in flour mixture, sprinkle topping and bake. It was really good, for the price. Thanks for the video and suggestion. Looking forward to giving it a try.

Anybody know if i add flour and butter to the topping if it will be more like a crumbly topping instead of just sugar i love this mix i buy it all the time im just wondering if i add that to the topping if i wont mess it up and if i do how much would i add?
