I like how informative you are on your channel. You’re not just showing a sneaker and saying how cool it is. You’re actually teaching about the sneaker. Good job.

It’s good for indoor running / gyms / strength exercise or park jogs where the ground is even and not rough with stones . U can do road tarmac but the wear and tear and the impact on ur foot strike gonna take a beating after long runs. I like this shoes as for aesthetic wise cauze it’s not over bulky like a running shoe and it’s good for casual / work perspective.

I use these for recovery and easy runs less than 10k. Makes my feet feel relaxed as it is allowed to spread out naturally

This line of shoes are awesome on a treadmill. I'd recommend them simply as a cheap pair for the gym that is properly designed for running. My experience with the older free rn 3.0 resulted in a lot of nagging arch pains around my talus bone, so I'd say you're right to avoid using them over longer distances, especially on hard surfaces.

I LOVE this Nike line. I've had mine (old model) for 6 years and today I'm getting a new pair. I was tempted to get Nike Pegasus but the weight is pretty significant compared to Free 5.0. More expensive too. So why not stick to what I already know is excellent.

These shoes are real good for a normal person who jogs few times a week I had first got the pegusas 39 but they were honestly to uncomfortable in my opinion my feet were hurting after 3 miles

Thanks for sharing. Food for thought. I am considering these shoes, but will probably give it a bit more time after seeing your vid.

The free run 3.0s where the best hands down. Which is weird they only have 5.0s now since the 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 where all related to stiffness not versions. Now it seems like 5.0 means the version of running shoe. If anyone has 3.0s in 10.5 ill buy them. Who needs that fat heal

How do you like the 2018 free run? Which do you prefer the 2018 free run vs nike previle

I don’t understand Nike’s thought process here…the whole point of the Free RN line is to promote healthy and natural foot striking whilst running, but then they put that ridiculous bulbous rear end to cushion heel striking…weird.
The best Free version was the 1st iteration of the Free Distance model. It’s been downhill since then.

I use these for sprinting, jumping rope, plyo jumps, etc. I love them but if I’m running more than 2 miles these aren’t it.

I loved the 2018 version for its cushioning and flexibility. Does the new model come close to that feel?

Hey, if I pick a half size smaller than mine, do you think it will fit comfortably or a little tight?

After almost 4 months and 450km of running wearing this pair of shoes. the rubber area below the forefoot deteriorates the fastest. I can already feel the road surface.

Do you think Nike will send me a new pair of shoes if I traded in my heavily used Nike shoes?

Great, sock-like everyday shoe. Just be prepared to replace them every six months as the fabric heel will wear out VERY quickly. Source: I've had to return two pairs and a third is starting to wear, all under a year. Nike guarantees for two years, so I've gotten them replaced for free, but this degree of terrible construction should be unacceptable. Thinking I might just go with the Pegasus for an everyday shoe, but I really like how the low profile of the 5.0s ...

I been using mine for treadmill only. I’m sure I got over 100 miles in them.
