How will the Biden/Harris ticket shake up the 2020 race?

On today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds President Trump trailing Joe Biden by 4 percentage points. This poll was taken prior to Joe Biden's vice presidential pick. Terrance Woodbury, Democratic pollster and Partner at Hit Strategies joins Hill TV to discuss how Kamala Harris will impact the 2020 race. Hill Reporters Jonathan Easley and Julia Manchester explain how Harris was chosen and what's next for the presidential campaigns.

This survey was conducted online within the United States from August 8-11, 2020 among 2,828 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 1.84 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
