So glad Ohtani is finally playing for a contender. His amazing talent was wasted by the Angels. Dodgers vs. Yankees will be an amazing World Series matchup. I hope it happens. 🤞

Wherever Shohei Ohtani is, dramatic moments are born.
He was destined to live under such a star.

People will ask "Why didn't they walk Ohtani?" The obvious answer might be because he has Betts, Freeman, and Hernandez batting after but another obvious one is that Ohtani is a threat to steal 2 bases. If any one of those 3 after Ohtani singles, flies out, or double he'll be the tying run. The chances of Ohtani stealing a base and having 1 of the next 3 batters after him getting at least a single is very high. So you just have to pick your poison.

If Ohtani was on the Angels they would've definitely walked him.

In the previous game, Shohei Ohtani recorded a home run and a stolen base in the same game for the 14th time this season, breaking the MLB record, which he had tied with the greatest leadoff man in MLB history, Rickey Henderson, for the most such games in a season for the first time in 38 years. In today’s game, he extended that record even further with his 15th such game this season. He has also surpassed Ichiro’s single-season runs scored and is closing in on his stolen base total. Not only that, he’s just two home runs shy of Aaron Judge’s total... This man has no ceiling to his potential! And let’s not forget, this same man is expected to achieve 20 wins, 200 strikeouts, and the highest strikeout rate next season—all while currently rehabbing from elbow surgery as a starting pitcher, which he underwent around this time last year!!!

It was loud!! From where I was sitting, I couldn't even hear myself! And I was in my living room! I could only imagine how loud the stadium was!

I think Ohtani adding Stealing bases to his bag just gave Dodgers another card to play in games. Even walking him means he has a chance to steal bases while not even mentioning the fact that Betts, Freeman, and Hernandez will be batting after him.

Such as simple thing if you say it out loud but its gotta be a headache if you are playing against them.

Too many Ohtani haters here (theyre all Judge fans). Please know that Judge is only half the player that Ohtani is. Judge is just a good hitter. Ohtani is a great player.
