The poor editing performance was a result of Final Cut Pro, the video files edit flawlessly in DaVinci Resolve.
Oddly H.265 actually plays fine in quicktime and has less stuttering in Final Cut Pro.
Using BlackMagic RAW Speed Test I get 110p @ 8K Metal and 30p @ 8K CPU rendering performance.

For those concerned about my graphics card airflow, the fans actually don't even turn on until its under load. I can put my finger on the metal heatsink while its on and its only slightly warm. Even after spending 8hrs editing this video. So I am not concerned.

3:06 - That's exceptionally bad. That's one of the screws that keeps the heatsink pressed against the GPU die. That screw being loose means the heatsink isn't seated properly, which means the GPU isn't being cooled as well as it should be.

I built my entire PC out of broken components.
The graphics card and motherboard were damaged by water and the CPU had problems with heat.
I wouldn't buy a finished PC these days, they are expensive and hardly upgradeable or repairable.
We live in a time of waste and that makes me sick.

These 6-pin plugs on the motherboard are rated 75W each, while 8-pin ones on the GPU are designed for 150W, and most likely will draw more than 75W. There's probably some redundancy, but I would not risk frying the the power lines on the mobo, there are tutorials online on how to power the GPU safely, you should really consider such a mod.
