Only A Pale Wind Remains - Emotional Music

This is a sad little companion piece to my ancient tune Distant. No twiddly little flute in here though! There's something about long piano sustains that I just love, there's all these fun harmonics and noises that make it so magical. Fun fact, the percussion is entirely made up of piano noises. Tapping with fingers and knuckles and a closed fist for a bass drum, who knew pianos were so versatile?

As a huge fan of pieces like "Distant" and "Moonless Night, " this was absolutely GORGEOUS to listen to!! I always really like pieces that are able to elicit the feeling of just missing and longing for something long gone, or, perhaps even more interesting, realizing that something you once hoped for, something that once mattered so much to you, has become little more than a distant memory. Not sure which feeling this song evokes more, but I love it either way!

Very chilling song like I can feel a cold wind passing by. You look at a beautiful land but only a pale of wind remains of it.
Maybe one day the wind be able to find its true colours.
