Photoelectric Sensors - Diffused Background Suppression - Part 4 - Datalogic

In this series we detail the mayor photoelectric sensor types and demonstrate their uses. For part 4 of the series we take a look at how diffused background suppression sensors can prevent false positives when sensing against a background.

By utilizing a position sensitive device the sensor can determine if the light being reflected is the background or the target. This is done by teaching the sensors what the background is.
