WoodMizer LT15 Wide Milling Spalted Beech

This old beech log had been sitting around for a while. The log itself was pretty ugly, but what we found inside was a nice surprise. Beech is a nice hardwood great for woodworking projects. Please consider subscribing to the channel. Thanks for watching it.

Just found your channel a couple of days ago and subbed. I'll be getting my HM122 in a couple of weeks and am looking forward to making lots of sawdust. I have a collection of smaller logs already that are just waiting for it's arrival. After those I too will be getting in touch with a couple of tree felling service companies to see if some kind of arrangement can be made to "Aid" them in "disposing" of their logs. I am hoping that goes well. Saw safe!!

I recently discovered your channel and subscribed. I'll have to find some time to go back and take a look some of your previous videos now! That's some good-looking wood. I'm glad to see that someone bedsides myself uses a 5-gallon bucket to attempt to collect the sawdust to try to minimize walking in it! I'm afraid its a losing battle sometimes, but well worth the trouble (I've also got a Wood-Mizer).

Looks kinda like Maple we have down South. Dont think ive ever seen Beech Trees in Ga. Old knotty logs make for some pretty lumber..

Woodmizer is a great sawmill. One thing I'll never understand, putting the operator on the side where the saw dust exits. Stay covered up in sawdust. If they would just put the controls on the other side. I can't see any reason why not .. I'd be tempted to try to change that ..js

Does the trailer package come with log loading ramps? That’s the only thing I’m not seeing anywhere online is the ramps for losing if no tractor or loader is available. Beautiful slabs! I’m gonna be ordering today hopefully, giving Wood-Mizer a call this afternoon.

Shew nope woodmizer will never sell me a sawmill until they change that.. it's a better mill than my woodland mills but I don't stay covered in saw dust. Woodmizer needs called out on that gosh

Whats your thoughts on 5he mill so far? Been trying to decide between 15 wide and timberking 1220.

I just don't understand why Woodmizer places the operator on the same side as the dust chute. Are they nuts? I'll stick to my Woodland Mills. Some sawdust is very toxic to your lungs (i. e. any wood that stands up to bugs) so be careful bud. Enjoyed watching but I'd rather be milling but it's pouring at the moment.👍😎👌
