Facts! I completely agree with the statements in this video. It seems to me that the closer you get to completely your degree the more burnout occurs. I am currently in my last year of grad school for my MS in Criminal Justice and it gets real, but I remind myself that in the end it will be my greatest reward for the sacrifices that I made to get my degree. Your channel has been very beneficial to me, thank you! 💕📱📚

I completely agree with this! I hold degrees in Mathematics as well! I’m currently working on my PhD and this semester time management has been a challenge. One other thing I’d say I wish I knew would be how important communicating with my graduate advisor is as well as seeking out mentors.

All of these are so true! As I'm going to graduate with my MA in less than two weeks, the burnout, time management and the leap from undergrad to grad are truly things that will grad students experience. Since I'm applying to PhD programs, I also advise that people make connections with people in the program. I had a partner and we would always help each other and keep each other on top of our assignments and divide study prep materials before exams. Good luck to everyone whos a current grad, starting grad school or considering grad school!

I will be starting grad school in two weeks at age 54 with a full-time job. I appreciate this video.

These are all so true! I think the worst part about imposter syndrome is that it leads to isolation. We're so worried about people finding out we're frauds that we tend not to share our struggles with others. But those struggles are what make us relatable to others and if we share we can actually get support too!

Great tips! I would add enjoy and learn from the process (journey) while on your way to the destination. I am finding that a lot of the lessons that I am learning are not only applicable in my PhD journey but in life. Great tips as always and I hope to get your book soon! Tfs

I am currently transitioning from undergrad to grad and it is busy. So many papers to read to learn more about my thesis and all the training I have to do.
