bronze age mindset - a queer perspective

welcome to my channel! i wanted to start off really strong with one of my favourite queer postmodern novels - bronze age mindset by bronze age pervert. i think this is the most misunderstood book of our time and powerfully so. due to its problematic and conservative contents, it has been picked up by circles of the same disposition, but in reality, this is a deep study on the modern closeted gay man.

thanks for watching :)

I thought this book was for fascist, and I wanted to read it. Now that is gay I don't want to read it.

The idea that every man in ancient Greece was a Homosexual comes from the mistranslation of Erros to mean romantic love exclusively, when it was actually used to refer to passions as well as any kind of relationship.

Interpreting BAM as queer proves BAP right about entire book. You are gay and project gayness on others so you dont feel alone and weird

BAP isn’t a trad BAP is a rightwing Nietzschian. He’s made that clear multiple times.

Having studied Marinetti's work, I have come to the conclusion that early fascism was an emancipatory movement for autists. BAP's fascist sympathies might therefore be better understood if studied in light of the intersection of queerness and neuro-divergence.

I will reiterate as it seems it was deleted. But I asked why those in the LGBT community seem to think everything is secretly queer? Men that are simply friends with each other but show affection are often claimed to be gay, when there's nothing to show for it.

Is it because they've had to hide their identity for so long that now they will claim everything is in an almost obsessive way? Perhaps.

It's almost orwellian in its subversive nature, I almost respect it. In any case, I enjoyed the satire.

This is an interesting take, and I do think a lot of the commenters here make interesting points, but I think it's more likely that this book is about how much you can learn doing van life. I've pulled a few quotations from BAM to make my point: "Living in a van is pretty sweet" "Care-free cruisin' ahead" "The nomad life is not for everyone, but it is for me" "On the road again!" In sum: 5/5 stars.

The overcompensatory ubermensch larping in the book becomes laughably cringe when you learn the author is a Romanian immigrant. Probably gotten mogged too often by WASPs at during his time at Yale

I literally cannot tell whether this is a genius BAPist who is cleverly trolling queer studies people, or a devotee of such studies, who of course may also be trolling BAPists with a sly reframing of their guy.

I honestly can't tell whether this is satire or not. Does that say something about me or just the world we live in?
