I am going to put Mateta just for fun. I am not putting some 15million guy even if he's in city. All in all, fpl is just a game.

The other thing you’ve got to build in with city players is PRR (Pep’s random rotations).
KDB’s just turned 33, there’s no way he’s playing every week in any team and this could be the season that his minutes when available really drops

Watkins just has to go in but that is assuming your not using Haaland, depends one or the other for me

@Let'sTalkFPL Andy you have no city attackers in your draft! Are you really going into GW1 without City attack? Is having Salah that critical?
I'd wait and see on Liverpool attack

Don't forget, much of Matata's great form only came in the final third of the season. Palace had been abysmal and heading for the relegation zone when Glasner arrived in mid-February, after which their form immediately improved. In fact, Glasner's impact was incredible. Within weeks of his arrival, Palace went from lethargic and failing to energetic and dangerous - and they pretty much maintained that until the end of the season. Higer profile teams looking for a better manager missed an opportunity with Glasner, and if Palace continue last season's form, they will come around looking to lure him away. The point is there's every reason to expect Mateta will improve on last season. And given this is Glasner's first full pre-season, Palace offer great potential for low cost + high reward FPL players.

I know it’s hard to work with hypotheticals but if Toney gets a move to a bigger club doesn’t he suddenly come a great value option? He’s been linked with a move away for ages

I'm not sure I fully agree about Porro. First two fixtures are good and if you look at the balance, you're basically saying they have 3 really good fixtures out of 6 (LEI away, EVE home, BRE home), plus a home derby. Is it the best fixture run in the league, of course not, but for a team that was extremely attacking last year I do favour having a few Spurs assets at the start and pivoting away after two games if they don't look good. I do favour Udogie (if he seems nailed) over Porro though, but I don't see why Porro isn't a good pick.

Hi Andy, great vid as usual...Just want to get your thoughts on my first draft: (3-4-3) (Subs: Sanchez/Soucek (or any 5m mid)/Gusto+Taylor). Liverpool fan myself...General thinking: Get Chelsea players before the good run after GW2, really like Crystal Palace towards the end of last season...Haaland too expensive...Pls feel free to comment.
