How to Catch Tuna // Tuna Tips

Here are a few things we have done to catch Tuna in Tasman Bay so hopefully this might help you guys land a few.

Nice! Before the Albacore left southern California, I used to do very well with green and black feathers. I tried lots of colors, many did work, but for me, green and black always performed well here, jet heads were simply a bonus. Keep fishing!

Hey. Great video. What do you do to avoid the many different lines from tangling together? alot of the times that ive tried trawling with numerous lines i always ended up having the lines tangling together...

I find that tuna love the colors green/yellow so I like using green/yellow skirts when targeting tuna.

Hi mark, I’m from England living in the south south f the Philippines, I’m 40 and always fished for fun but my dream is to retire here but a boat and become a tuna fisherman, I have no idea what to do or where to start, how far of coast I would need to fish or even where to find them, but it’s famous for large tuna where I live, any advice would be great 👍
