Despite their blatant LIES that you can easily cancel doing it yourself there’s literally NO way to cancel yourself via browser or any variation of the Uber apps. You have to try to go through chat and sit on hold with them to cancel and get a refund for something you never agreed to sign up for to begin with. And they REFUSE to even give you an email confirmation at the end of it all. This company is the definition of shady.

This behaviour from Uber is worthy of reporting. Amazon just got hit with a massive fine for essentially tricking users into signing up for Prime. This is the equivalent. I literally cannot cancel through any channel!

I have never used Uber one or subscribed to anything. I barely drive anywhere I’ve been at home in town barely even driving to work, and Uber started randomly charging me 9.99 every month in April. There’s no way to end the membership and the help page won’t load . It’s infuriating

I switched the payment option to a card that I had turned off and since then I haven’t gotten any alerts👍 I hope it works for others as well

It's not giving me a option. To manage membership it just keeps asking to join. But my bank account is showing me I'm being charged for the subscription

Tried to cancel 2 days prior to the renewal date and there is absolutely no cancel option. There’s no direct contact to them except through the help chat and they don’t provide a email with proof of the refund transaction. Uber is the worst. I see that this has happened to quite a few customers out there.

There is no "End membership" option appearing under Uber One on the up-to-date Android app, or website. I didn't even sign up for it... complete scam.
