Nice to see they're showing off the ADF for a change. Although, I guess that makes sense since this was showcased in Melbourne. It's also nice to see the new assault carriers. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh when we acquire them.

Most likely those will remain features exclusive to VBS. It took Bohemia about 5 years, if I'm not mistaken, to implement heat system (actual realistic heat in-game for IR scopes) in ArmA since it was first introduced in VBS.

Man, I wish Arma 2 was more like this, I know it's obviously the stripped down one, more so than the public version of VBS2 but wow, so much stuff missing from Arma 2 that's in this!

you can buy a single user licence from Bohemia Interactive for about $2, 500.00. Some licenses run all the way up to $56, 000.00 It's a pretty penny but you can get it. Also there is a free version called VBS lite but it's a watered down version.

Much like the top of the line technology in a brand new Mercedes slowly trickles down to vehicles the rest of us can afford, so is the case with VBS developments. For people playing ARMA at the moment, it can provide a good insight into what we will may be seeing in the future.

I really hope we get walkable vehicle interiors in ArmA III, it seems not that important, but really adds a lot of realism.

The scuba divers look interesting. Do you know if they are simulating full scuba effects such as depth effects on breathing, medical problems such as the bends, etc.?

As far as I know, VBS handles the ability to walk around on moving objects, I could be wrong but I thought it could.
