This idea worked awesome for me, though I did not tie it on the wheels. Heavy front wheel drive vehicle stuck in the mud for a good while. I put a folded up old towel behind one front wheel and an old bristle-y door mat under the other front wheel, and within 2 minutes it was out. Excellent advice! 🥇

Wow!! So simple and it works. Breakdown company told us we weren’t covered so we were literally stuck. Only struggle was getting the towels around the wheels. We ruined 2 towels (each front wheel) but it was worth it. Thank you. Worked a treat.

I'm glad it worked for you guys.
On one tire, It completely jammed up underneath the brake pad. After I was towed, the whole tire had to be removed so that they could get it out. It almost did it on the other side too.
I wasn't even gunning it.

Brilliant Sir ... Just watched a guy on another video used two by fours strapped to the tires of 4x4 ...it worked ok if your truck has the clearence but your towel method is so much easier and looks like it would work better . Thanks for sharing .

Thanks for this! Couldn’t fit the towels around my trucks brakes, so just folded a towel for each wheel and it got me right out of soft, slick snow!
