DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Hey guys! Follow me along on a typical day as a graphic designer as I take you to work with me! Every day is different, but I wanted to show you what a normal day in the life of a designer looks like. Graphic design has been a great career and job for me and is something I am very passionate about! I majored in graphic design at a 4 year university and got a Bachelor of Arts degree. Future videos I plan on working on are how to make a graphic design portfolio, what is a graphic designer salary, and examples of a graphic designer resume. You may be wondering is graphic design a good career in today's environment? I think working from home and remote jobs for a graphic designer are positive aspects of the field. Having a home office space has been a great way for me to continue working from home at my graphic design gig. For those of you interested in graphic design school or being a graphic design student, I got my 4-year degree in Design and Visual Communication from Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

I’m a high school senior and I’ve been thinking about my future so far: getting my A.A. associate’s degree for two years then transfer to a four year university to get my bachelor’s degree in graphic design or fine arts.

You don’t technically need college to become a designer. I did a semester in college and dropped out. after I found out You need to have a strong portfolio! And be great with talking to clients and communicate skills are a plus! And what you can bring to the table.

sounds like a cool job! definitely the type of thing i’d be interested in. i’ve been working in retail for 8 years and since becoming an art major i’ve developed more of an appreciation for visual marketing in the retail space. i’m finishing up my graphic design bfa and graduating this december. it’s so interesting hearing about all the different things you can do with a design degree!

Because of Corona, I want to be a designer. I did not major in designer school.

5 years I worked as a tourism marketing, but because of Corona, I was temporarily housed, the company was totally closed because in Indonesia it has not been allowed to go out on holiday.

Beginning in March I started learning Photoshop from YouTube, books and websites. I learned it was not to work in a company that needed a designer, but I wanted to run an online business. Because in 2016 I already knew Shopify and run a dropshipping business.

Stay afloat and fight for corona. GBU ALL

It’s nice seeing this video, it helps calm my nerves about finding a good job for someone with a degree in graphic design. Currently at community college trying to save money and then hoping to transfer to a good art school. Just hoping to find a good job that I really like😊
