Jeff, notice the difference in your stance vs his (check the blade of his sword) His stand off range is greater putting you under much more pressure to defend and making it easier for him to attack. The tip of his blade is always pointing at you in some fashion or another. This guy doesnt look like a newbie to me at all. And if he is, then he's picked up HEMA very well 👍🏻

Jeff's movement style is actually well suited for fighting with weapons. He's able to cover bug distances in any direction very fast. Much bigger moves than the average mna fighter.

Well I can honestly say when you talked about HEMA this was not what I necessarily had in mind. Not a bad thing just handnt seen it be demonstrated like this before.
