My dad died when I was 5 months old, my mom left this earth 1 1/2 years ago. I am 62. I have kids and grandkids. Your son is beautiful and, clearly, loved. He carries all the love of your mom and dad and brother. Watch him grow. You will wish your family could be here with you but your son is the very continuation of all that is family and all that is love! Blessings to you and Wyatt!

You will be an amazing dad and he is going to be a happy kid. I adopted my son through DCFS when he was 2 yrs old. I couldn't conceive due to sever endometriosis and PCOS. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and had to have a D&C, the a year later I had a hysterectomy. It was a heartbreaking time and I was terrified of the process of adopting but I was blessed with a director at St Nick's who dealt with kids that were already severed from the birth parents. My son had only been with one family from 7 days old until 23 mos, he had no major issues but a slight delay in speech due to needing his adenoids out. I also found out he had a peanut allergy and also a stutter. I worked with him on the stutter that started when he was 4 1/2 and within months he was no longer stuttering. He is amazing and sweet and I love him dearly. 🙃😁
