Have you thought about running a chiller instead of A/C? I was just looking at the ones that cool MRI machines. You can find them responsible priced at auctions the universities/ government uses.

Have been growing your rosebud pink oysters and lions mane from your etsy shop and both do extremely well in the 70F-80F range. The pinks just adore the temps, get some very vivid colors out of them.
This summer I've happily been raising lions mane, pink oyster, pioppino and albino shimeji. Just had some lc's of red and black reishi show up, but haven't transferred them yet. Would love to try some more varieties of hericiums.

I'm starting to grow mushrooms inside in a grow tent, I picked pink and yellow oysters to start with since I don't have AC. Would love to try hericium but I think that'll have to wait til fall. I colonized black pearl oysters but then it got to hot for them inside so I added them in my garden hopefully they'll pop up later in the season when it cools down. I'm trying to work with my environment right now and I can't wait to see what happens.

Ordered the blue, pink, golden, and a few others earlier today. Looks like I picked the right ones because the area I plan to fruit them in is a pretty constant 67 degrees and I can’t get it any cooler atm haha. This is my first go at gourmet and I’m looking forward to starting! I have a 4x2x5 hydro tent I’m setting up as a FC.

This is one of the best I have seen, but tell me please, 70F is not what you call HOT? Here in the dead of night it might get down to 78F Are there any mushrooms that can stand South Texas temps?

Is 80F enough to induce pinning for pink and gold oyster? What about heat tolerant lions mane?

Is any kind of blue oyster going to have longer stems? I had a Florida oyster and not even to save my life, I couldn’t get fatter Caps and shorter stems. I’m sure my strain had a major genetic issue since my pink and gold oyster were kicking butt.

So that's why a lot of mushroom farmers here in The Philippines grow pink and white oyster mushrooms. They love the warm weather. 🤔
