Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 - Deleted Scene (Game Animation)

Here's the 2 animations I did for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2. The first animation was cut from the game and redone as the character changed during development, the second animation was used in the Huggy Wuggy Whack-A-Wuggy game!

The head and face wasn't animated because they track the player on the huggy wuggy animation

Even though the scene wasn’t kept, I do like that they kept the line”Mommy doesn’t like guests.” For the trailer.

I find it kind of interesting how part of this speech was used in the trailer. There's a surprising amount of unused content shown in the trailer, actually.

Ok I realized, the early version of poppy is more mysterious, pale, and serious, while the current version is more of an actual child who witnessed murder.

Her Line "I'm only one left who knows it" Reminds me her past, Being an Employee able still able to remember all after being made into a Doll.

she was talking about the other employees put into toys. (game theory) although poppy may SEEM bad, she is just one of the victims. it's your goal to save them

They didn’t just cut it, they reworked it. In this original version, Poppy _remembers_ the code, but doesn’t have any paper with the clues on it.

It’s more fitting in the end of the game. and it has a voiceline saying “Mommy doesn’t like guests” and the same sentence is in the trailer

I didn't know you work on this, you make the animation so fluid ( I haven't play yet but just see clips of it).
