Imagine if he sent Davout instead of Grouchy to chase the Prussians

Before I even knew of Davout's legendary accomplishments historically he was my main man after Napoleon first time playing Napoleon Total War.

The only marshal who can be considered equal to his emperor. Nevertheless, Davout remained faithful to Napoleon until the end.

At Borodino, he got out of his hospital bed, still with an open stomach wound from the day before, and led his corps into battle personally !!

Imagine is Davout pursed the Prussian instead of Grouchy and joined the battle at Waterloo just in time.

Davout on his right, Lannes on his left. Soult, Marmont and Ney in his center, Murat commanding his cavalry, and ever faithful Bessières ready with the Old Guard . All of them marching towards the sound of the guns.
Vive Le Grande Armée!!!
Vive Le Emperor !!!
Vive Napoleon!!!

Had Davout been at Waterloo, he'd not have made the unreasonable corps formation like D'Erlon's, or gone along with the cavalry charge without nails and artillery covery like Ney, or made the dog chasing its tail move like Grouchy.

If the Iron marshal took a task, you'd know the task would be done.

In Leipzig, he was missed because he was defending Hamburg- again, a lousy decision by Napoleon because Napoleon did catch a lucky break on the very first day of Battle of Nations- a cavalry charge almost rolled up the enemy monarchs. Had Davout been there, his adroitness would have carried the day.

His Corps III was the most feared among France's enemies, most ominous sign for them after the Emperor himself.

I think its more cool to see that he was always on the right. Forget fancy titles, dude was in the place of honour, the most prestigious flank, where grenadiers in a line regiment would fight. Something everyone he faced in Europe would have known.
