This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that's the way I like it!

FYI The lack of an opening graphic 'boarding pass' was an oversight, not a format change.

I was in Pakistan for a few days last May, and it was an interesting trip, although at times far from relaxing. Almost everyone I dealt with was friendly and tried to be helpful, but frequently weren't. I found Peshawar in particular edgy, and felt under surveillance, probably because I was. I didn't get to fly Fly Jinnah, but did fly PIA to Dubai because Serene Air, which may well be a misnomer, cancelled. Half an hour before landing an announcement said we would be landing in half an hour, insh'Allah, which somehow I didn't find comforting. But we did, and the food was excellent. Thanks as ever for your excellent review.

Hi Kevin, I'm a huge fan of your channel and was very pleasantly surprised to see you were in Pakistan and flew on Fly Jinnah. Thank you for coming here and making this review.

Kevin, for the past 3 years, I have found you the best travel reviewer out there, and you continue to get better and better. I have gained so much knowledge from you. Question. What did you do before you were a travel reviewer?

The reason for the very few flights is that air travel is exponentially more expensive for the average Pakistani. Buses and trains are much cheaper, they can be very high quality as well, with some buses offering lie flat beds onboard. Meanwhile in the US, you can fly with Spirit or Frontier for cheaper compared to the Greyhound Bus in most cases.

Glad you enjoyed it.There's WiFi and inflight entertainment on FlyJinnah too, which can be accessed through your own device.
Please do fly PIA, AirSial and Serene Air next time.
Great content as always.

1:03 it’s been a rough few days for some of us in my beloved adopted homeland, and I’m having a “surprised by joy” moment watching this. Thank you Kevin, your true north values are a salve. Now, back to the video:)
7:17 do I detect a pet peeve?:)

Hugely enjoyable video of an impressive, new to me, airline, and can’t believe I’m saying this, the music really added to the atmosphere!

Pakistan’s official languages are English and Urdu; they are meant to announce in both languages. Also, everyone speaks English; all business is done in English. Nice soundtrack. Also, FlyJinnah is partially owned by AirArabia, hence the aircraft seats.

I really hope Fly Jinnah succeeds. Pakistan's population and size should mean that aviation is thriving but it's not. It needed a LCC to stimulate demand, and Air Arabia is the perfect airline group to do this. They have extensive experience with lots of high regulation countries and seem to be leading an air revolution in the region.

How can there be so few people at an airport in a major city? Incredible.

Very mixed emotions remembering my layovers in Pakistan… I am sure the country will have changed a lot, but it was very difficult going out on your own as a female and feel safe. People were either very friendly or very hostile 😅Thank you for the review 🙏🏼

I've never flown Fly Jinnah but definitely will after this review. In terms of friendliess, despite PIA's ahem ahem history ahem, their staff has always been so friendly. Especially on their "premium economy"; hard product is in desperate need for some TLC, but the soft product was impressive. Such an attentive and amazing crew.

Its great that you covered Pakistan and great to see some good airlines emerging in that market, just find the name a bit funny..it’s like UK having an airline named Fly Churchill 😅.

Pakistan is the most under-rated nation on earth. Yes, most people there cannot afford to fly but for the lucky few who can it is a stress-free experience. It reminds me of what air travel in the West was like 40 years ago.
