Giorgia Meloni praised for pledge to make ‘the West great again’

Sky News host Rowan Dean has praised Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for her pledge to make ‘the West great again’.

Ms Meloni made the comments while meeting with US President Donald Trump at the Oval Office.

“Can you think of a greater thing to be saying and aspiring for your nation?” Mr Dean said.

“Italy, the heart of the Renaissance, so much tradition and wealth there of Western civilisation … embracing the concept of ‘let’s make the West great again'.”
