I did a similar thing in Valentine’s Day, asked my crush if she would spend the day with her boyfriend. It came to her saying she kinda had a boyfriend. And when I said that it’s pretty much a yes or no question she responded with, it’s complicated. I have no clue 😂

Even though I’m late to this...here’s to all who ask what if she says “how do you know or how did you know I have a bf?”. You play it off by just saying something like “I just assumed that you did since you seem like a really good person” or something along those lines. Essentially you tone the situation down while still now knowing your answer to the question. Always go with the strategy similar to “innocent till proven guilty” but instead “single till proven taken”. If you go into it thinking she is taken, you reject yourself and miss an opportunity. Remember, rejection is easier to get over than regret. Worst thing she can say is that she has a boyfriend. Hopefully that helps some of y’all out! Best of luck!

If if the new movie trailer were to come up, I still do not question if they can bring their fiance. I would not even mention boyfriend or girlfriend. As a matter of fact, I prefer not to investigate because knowing nothing is bliss.

Asking your crush if their going out with their boyfriend not knowing if they do have a boyfriend would be weird and probably make you look like a stalker. The best thing to really do is to just get to know your crush better and have a normal conversation. Once you know her enough then it's time to ask her.

In a way, when you meet or talk to her you assume that she's a woman with integrity. You don't need to ask. Just ask her out. She shouldn't make single date plans with you if she has a boyfriend. That way you also qualify her dating moral compass.
