This is such a beautiful ending. I recently viewed the interview between she and her husband of 59 years. What makes this story even sweeter is that the husband though he had lost his wife to the storm. And she appears at the front door the next morning. She stated that she prayed the entire time. God is amazing and he created amazing individuals as well.

I’m in western North Carolina. This one of many saved lives by brave residents. This man put his life at risk for another. He is a hero. North Carolina is suffering bad. Helicopters from private citizens all over North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida have come to help. Thank you Governor Ron Desantis of Florida for all the state guard help and the temporary bridges you sent. You are a special man. Don’t believe the media people. Whole towns were swept away with people over days. Houses are under rivers. 1000s of people are missing.

I can't watch these videos of the horrific devastation of these areas. without bawling. The selfless act, kindness and compassion of this man and so many others is a light in what can appear to be dark times. People helping people will stabilize the country, not the government. When government officials are refusing to help save lives, I don't see any form of humanity.
