These departments should not have medical aid so that they can go to government hospitals and receive the same treatment that citizens do. They would not last 5 minutes in a government hospital.

They are not hospitals, they are hell holes where people go to die. My 80yr old mother was left lying without a blanket in the middle of winter in Steve Biko over 20yrs ago, terrified of dying their with the staff treating them as Mr London said.... like cockroaches. The next day I could not find her, I was directed to an alley outside where she was lying stripped to the waist with a sister and a male eating fish and chips next to her. NHI is implemented to expand the incompetence and rot further

As a retired health professional im more than disgusted at the alleged behaviuor of doctors..To work in health care you must be hear from this gentleman on a longer video of a patient screaming in agony while receiving a lumbar puncture and the complete disregard for this patiens distress by the doctors who were instead laughing talking bout cars. Clothes..and fancy restaurant..unconcerned about the pain of a fellow human...is inhuman..psychopatic...The patient i believe subsequently passed away.where are the doctors of old..with amazing worK ethics..and humaneness..they have been replaced in the main by uncaring careerist who have sacrificed the honourable traits synonymous with health care professionals on the altar of avarice...Shame on you..They are some though ( clearly not in this case) who are still honorable men and men.Hats off to you...but to the narcissitic psychopaths..hide your head in shame.Oh wait narcissists have no empathy or shame.As for the facilities thanks to all the corrupt who stole money meant for the vulnerable ill people .via tenders....YOU HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS....AND YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES WILL ANSWER SOMEDAY

The man whom Tom referred to in his video was my nephew. My brother's son. Nico van Burick. He was treated with utter disrespect by the "doctors" as well as other hospital staff. He did not get the medical treatment he needed. They just left him to die at the very young age of 34. Nico you did not deserve what these barbaric animals did to you. May KARMA catch up to them REAL SOON. My heart is broken. 😢😢😢😢

It's about time that someone exposed the truth about our Government hospitals. It's disgusting. I also don't have a medical aid and if I had to land up in a Government hospital and am treated with such disdain...God help them!

Lack of respect and empathy for patients by nurses and doctors, is the norm in the private sector as well, the only acception being the more sophisticated setting of the private hospital
