The sequence is a) 1, 4, 7, 10...
b) 2, 5, 8, 11...

We must also consider the case where the quotient is 0
That is 1 = 0×3 + 1
2 = 0×3 + 2
1 is the remainder when 1 is divided by 3
So the first term of the sequence which gives remainder 1 when divided by 3 is 1
Therefore the sequence is 1, 4, 7, 10...
Similarly for the second part
The sequence is 2, 5, 8, 11...
